Today in satire news, in what many people are now claiming ‘could have been a tweet’, a joke was written utilising the oft-used News Article Literary Device in order to make light of a fairly run-of-the-mill relatable situation. After having enjoyed the headline, many readers were then left red-faced as they proceeded to read out the article to their has…
Obviously it doesn’t really inspire one to read the article itself, but it’s well worth the anticlimactic disappointment. (but probably not)
In other news, summer is just around the corner here so I hope everyone’s usual summer plans, like mine, continue to remain hopeful and nothing more.
