Comics For Your Monday!
Welcome to Edition No. 40 of OUTLINED.
It’s just got quite warm here in Berlin, which in most cities would make everyone very excited, but not Berlin, No no.
“Suddenly good weather” in Berlin is generally treated with complete skepticism as everyone braces for the very real possibility of a 3rd, or possibly 4th encore of Winter.
This is terrible weather for drawing. Especially when your desk is by a window that looks out on a street that is now full of Berliners tentatively frolicking about in the sun.

As far as my creativity and motivation is concerned, I really struggled this week. This was clearly evidenced by the fact last week's newsletter was not only very late, but also very much a half-arsed, recycled filler job. I also complained about it on Twitter a lot, because as we all know, complaining on twitter requires very little motivation, (a fact…
OK! Let’s get this edition going.
This week we’ve got a pretty fun round of requested comics! Unlike other weeks, requests weren’t limited to just one word, so there were a few slightly more challenging ones this week!
First up though, there was a request for Runners.
I feel like this one could actually be made into a proper comic, so do let me know if you’d like a copy of that.
Next up is Board Meeting.
Next up, was a request for ‘The Frenchiest French Fries’ which is how I ended up drawing this…
Someone also requested a print of this and so gloriously, this comic then quickly became an available artwork up on the shop!
This is one of my favourite things about doing requests. I don’t think I would have ever ended drawing this otherwise!
After that, we had Dachshund Drinking at A Bar, so I drew this one which I thought was quite good…
…but then thought there might nee to be a bit more information so drew the second one.
Right, sorry about that. (Gotta be done!)
Onto the next one, which is was a request for Jet lag (There’s a few words I’ve pretty much exhausted at this point, and Jet lag is at the top of that list I think)
This next one was a request for ‘Berliners Having Fun’ - I’m not sure what the person who requested it had in mind, but I hope they’re happy.
Here we have a request for a ‘Light Novel’ - Tempted to turn this into a print as well, be sure to let me know if you’d be interested in that.
And there’s STILL MORE! - That’s right, was a big week or drawing this week and I’ve saved my favourite for last! Here’s ‘A Chicken Having an Existential Crisis’
